Industry Tap House

We partnered with the owners to transform a tired, local bar into an industrial themed neighborhood spot for friends to gather and try their great selection of craft beers. To create ITH's industrial design, we selected weathered wood, stained it various shades of brown and gray and wrapped it around the bar and several feature walls as shiplap. Our favorite part of the project is the two sister beams we found at a farm and outfitted with different Edison bulbs to hang above two sides of the bar. Rusted corrugated metal chair rails, industrial lighting and concrete countertops add to this look. During our research, we brainstormed on how to fill two long walls flanking the bar. We selected several eye catching IPA and whiskey logos which we enlarged and framed in rustic wood to warm up the space. We selected a fun, candy apple red for the beer tap which coordinated with the artwork and their logo. A local artisan wrapped the large cooler in a black and white mural of the famous Joliet prison (think Blues Brothers). The cooler door looks like a prison door! Whiskey kegs branded with the ITH logo provide additional table seating. This was a huge overhaul. ITH has a great atmosphere to kick back and unwind. Cheers to you Industry Tap House!
