Four Star Restaurant group contacted me to give D.O.C. Wine Bar a new look.

The bar was dark and dated with lighting that was too small for the scale of the restaurant. My inspiration began with a picture I found of a mid-century modern green leather bar stool. I wanted the space to feel swanky and chic so that when you walk in, you feel like you are in a city restaurant. I selected antique brass light fixtures which compliment the emerald green and marine blue seating. The large scale wall covering on the back wall adds drama with a bit of playfulness. The wall covering has a vibrant iridescent color that works well with navy and green. It almost feels like water and is so unique and unexpected.

The drippy antique sconces look sensational layered on top of it. Driftwood, slender vases and pop art complete the design.
